The engine has the following casting number on the intake manifold: C1AE9425B - thanks to Mr. Can confirm the body is the 1960 2 door tudor hardtop from the various spots where the "new" cra**y paint has peeled away, i can confirm the color is right althought replaced, the inside vinyl is black and white the headliner looks original (white perforated, aged looking but in good shape) The data plate, revealed when opening the drivers side door, yields the following: Body 63A, Color X, Trim 56, Date 15F, Tran 4, Axle 3. The VIN is 0Y71Y168975 if i read the vin decoder accurately, this should be a 1960, 2 door tudor hardtop, assembled at the Wixom plant, with a 352 and was the 168,975th unit assembled that year. I can't tell what parts, if any, of the body sheet metal have been replaced - one guess is the driver's side rocker panel - as it seems a bit bulky and not smooth (and the first layer is peeling off. Some things (apart from the poor paint) have also been redone - hoses look newer dash is newer seat vinyl looks newer. Otherwise, the car looks like it is in remarkably good condition (to my unexperienced eye) - that is, no rust through any part of the body minor surface rust on some spots (e.g., underside of Hood). ![]() It was painted over and the new paint was a terrible job and is peeling off. New to the world of classic cars, but searching for first vehicle to start the hobby. ![]()
